We are regularly updating 문법.com to make it more accurate and helpful. Here are some of the new features we added for this month:
The 문법.com browser extension now checks writing inside of Google Docs:
Google Docs built-in spellchecker leaves a lot to be desired for Korean writers. But thanks to our extension, you can access a Korean-specific spelling & grammar check right inside of Google Docs.
If you have already installed the extension, no extra setup is required. The same extension supports not just Google Docs, but thousands of other apps like Notion, Gmail and Naver.
We made various improvements to our AI spelling & grammar corrections model.
While developing the model, we test it on a variety of internal and public datasets. To make sense of the performance, we benchmarked our model on a public dataset against other writing assistance tools.
We benchmarked 2 metrics; the accuracy of error detection (recall) and the agreement between the model’s corrections and expert-written fixes (GLEU). On both metrics, 문법.com outperformed competitors by some margin:
We’re proud of this result, but still working hard to improve the quality and accuracy of the suggestions further.
If you found 문법.com helpful this month, why not share it with a friend? You can download the extension here or try it out online.
